The history of AutreSens...
Comic book written and produced by Gilles BellevautWe would like to extend our warmest thanks to them.
What is AutreSens?
AutreSens was born out of a combination of dreams, challenges, determination, hope and optimism, and a commitment from school onwards to take an active role in our own lives and in the world.
It all started with the dream of two teachers*, working with a slightly different approach, who brought along other colleagues and a large number of pupils, who together wanted to put forward and share ideas on how and what we should learn so that the knowledge we acquire can be taken out of the classroom and used to understand our surroundings, get involved, imagine and create so that we can live intelligently in the world of tomorrow. At present, although the association is open to anyone who shares its philosophy (see the articles of association), AutreSens is mainly made up of students and teachers who meet regularly to work on a variety of projects. projects.
By giving people the opportunity to distance themselves from the content, some of the tools we offer facilitate an alternative vision of the issues raised, and help to encourage innovative thinking and creative potential.
The association operates on the basis of a network of interested and committed people from different backgrounds, and thanks to a principle of "partnership". horizontal governance. The collective is open to all, and organises between two and three meetings a year. Working groups on various projects meet on a more regular basis in small groups.

Where does it come from?
The AutreSens collective began with the dream of two gymnasium teachers*, working with other colleagues and many students to encourage them to become active players in their own lives and in the world, starting at school. They set up and developed innovative learning strategies with teachers and students, based on the theoretical framework of the Meaningful Learning.
At the end of this project, in 2017, they wanted to ensure that everyone's commitment and collaboration would continue and be amplified by creating the AutreSens association, which operates on the basis of a network of interested and involved people from different backgrounds.
